Curved bay sash window
This interesting curved bay sash window is suffering from slight rot in cills and lower rails on bottom sliding sashes. This unusual design has pine wood panelling surrounding window but the curved sliding sashes are made from oak. Originaly this property would have had uninterupted sea views!
Outer rotten cills have been cut out and replaced in Oak.
The bay is to be completely restored with rot cut out, new wood put in, draught proofed and painted. The window has a clever pulley sytem accessed behind opening pannels to operate lower outer sashes (removed whilst being worked on).
Note the concealed hinged panels each side of bay
Finished in white satin.
